Pool Related

What are the pool hours and rates for day use swimming?

We offer 3 sessions daily: 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, and 4pm-8pm

Do you require reservations for day use swimming?

Reservations must be made in advance on our website at: www.quinnshotsprings.com/swim-session

What are the pool hours for lodging guests?

Adult lodging guests may use the pools from 7am to 11pm. Adults only hours are 7am-8am and 10pm-11pm. Children lodging with us may use the pools with adult supervision from 8am – 10pm. While check-in time is at 4pm, guests may soak as early as 2pm the day of check-in and while check-out time is 11am, guests may soak as late as 1pm the day of check-out.

What are the age restrictions for pool use?

Children 5 years/under may not enter water over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Our pools range in temperature. We have one pool that allows all ages. One of our pools allows children 3 years/older. Two of our pools allow children 5 years/older. Three of our pools allow children 14 years/older.

What minerals are in the water?

Silica, Sulfate, Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, and Iron. Please be advised that the mineral content in the pools will tarnish any jewelry that is not gold. Should you forget and your jewelry tarnishes, jewelry cleaner or toothpaste will restore its natural luster.

Water Bottle Policy:

Guests can now bring in their own water bottles to the pools complex. Please note that the water bottles must be empty prior to entering the pool area. There is a filling station in the changing room building.

 

Food Related

Are dinner reservations required?

Dinner reservations in the Tavern are not necessary but are highly recommended in the Harwood House Restaurant.

Does the Harwood House Restaurant or the Tavern accommodate special diets?

Yes, simply inform your server upon your arrival of your requests.

Why does my debit card statement say I paid so much over what I actually paid when I tipped my server?

Your bank does an additional hold above the actual charge.  It is normally released within 3 to 5 business days.

Can I charge to my room?

Yes! With our all-inclusive wristbands, you’ll be able to make charges to your room.

Does Quinn’s have room service?

We do not currently offer room service. We do, however, offer orders to go.

Are food and beverages permitted in the pool area?

Guests may not bring in their own food or beverage items (those brought from outside the grounds onto Quinn’s property), and picnics are not permitted anywhere on the resort grounds. Such items must remain inside guest rooms/cabins or vehicles. We permit food and beverages which are purchased on the resort in the pool area. People wishing to picnic are referred to Cascade Campground just 3 miles away. Guests are permitted to bring in personal EMPTY water bottles to the pools area and then may fill them at the water filling station.

Can we picnic on the resort?

We do not permit any outside food or beverages anywhere on the resort grounds, including parking lots, the outdoor pavilion, lawns, and the playground area. “Outside food or beverage” refers to any food or beverage items brought from outside the grounds and onto Quinn’s property. Guests may enjoy these items in their rented rooms/cabins or inside their vehicles. Picnics are not permitted. Open flame barbecues are not permitted.

We offer food and beverages for sale in both the tavern and restaurant. Guests who wish to picnic may utilize Cascade Campground just 3 miles away.

Can I barbecue or build a campfire?

We border Lolo National Forest. As a result, our insurance will not allow barbecues or campfires.

 

Lodging Related

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in time is at 4pm and check-out time is 11am for all accommodations. Guests may soak as early as 2pm the day of check-in and as late as 1pm the day of check-out. PLEASE NOTE: Check-in is guaranteed on the date of your arrival until 11PM. If you will not be arriving prior to this time, please call us at (406) 826 – 3150 Ext. 1 to make arrangements to receive your keys.

Do you have a wait list?

We don’t have a wait list, however, occasional cancellations will create unexpected availability. The best way to look for an opening, is to keep searching for availability on your desired date(s) here: CHECK AVAILABILITY

Do you allow pets?

We have one type of accommodation that allows up to 2 pets, and they are our “Canyon Cabin” rentals. When booking this type of accommodation, you should note your pet(s), and a pet fee will be applied towards your reservation balance.

What days do you close?

We are open year-round and most days. Exceptions include the days (usually about a week) when we close for our spring cleaning projects each spring.

If I rent 2 or more rooms on a weekend, can I get a discount?

We do not offer lodging discounts on weekends.

What discounts do you have?

Quinn’s honors our Military Veterans and active or retired Military Members with a lodging discount of $20 off your room/cabin per night of your stay. A Valid U.S. Military/Veteran ID or a DD-214 is required at check-in. PLEASE NOTE: The military discount only applies to the military member/veteran’s room. Only one discount per reservation or stay is allowed, and we cannot combine different types of discounts. For example, if a reservation is made for 3 different rooms, only one discount will be applied and it will be for just one room (the room the military member/veteran is staying in). If there is more than one military veteran/member in your group, we recommend that your group makes separate reservations; one for each room/cabin so that each veteran/member can apply their military discount to their room.

We also have a multi-night discount of 10% off each night for stays of 3 nights or longer. This discount can be applied towards just one cabin/room that is reserved for 3 consecutive nights or longer. For example, if a guest stays 1 night in one cabin and then moves to another cabin for an additional 2 nights, they will not receive the multi-night discount.

Discounts cannot be combined, only one can be used per stay or reservation.

 

Other

Do you have a lost & found?

Yes we do. Due to limited space, we only hold items for one week. We can mail items to you with a processing fee. Discarded items are donated to local charities.

What activities do you have for my family?

We have the pools, pool table, and hiking in the area. Locally, we also have the Bison Range, rafting trips or raft rentals, horseback riding, and a golf course. We are about 2 hours away from Glacier National Park.

What is the closest commercial airport?

Missoula (MSO)

Does Quinn’s offer camping or RV sites?

We no longer have any RV sites, however, if you wish to tent camp, Cascade National Campground is just 3 miles away.

Does Quinn’s have a guest laundromat?

We do not. There is a local laundromat in the town of Plains.

What kind of shopping is in the area?

Fannie’s gift shop in Quinn’s reception area has a wide variety of items for purchase. Antique shops are in the town of Plains and St. Regis.
